Iron Mountain Restaurant

Sorry if the snow kept you from the Happy Hour last night at Iron Mountain Winery.  The bar menu Mac & Cheese w/Bacon superb, Kobe Burger w/frites awesome and the Pulled Pork Sandwich was ok, Frites are execellent, the wine is $2.00 off during Happy Hour.  I tried the Pinot Grigio a little off for me, however the red Pinot Noir was very tasty. 

They took out all the booths and put in tables, put in a lounge type area on the South side of Restaurant,  kind of a stark look, some great big throw rugs would give it a warmer atmosphere. 

Our waitress Jessica Toothaker, was very helpful and very attentive to us, Jessica says they have been open for 3 weeks now.

Styles of Cherry Creek

Cherry Creek house styles are interspersed between little brick homes with older and new townhouses including very modern, contemporary and traditional styles.  There are a few original farm houses in the mix that add to the charm of Cherry Creek.  A great example of an original farm house that is presently for sale is 550 Clayton Street.  The house is made of stucco and has a great garden space that is prime for entertaining.   You can’t go wrong living in Cherry Creek as my broker would say  “It’s like living at the beach”.  You are close to everything from restaurants to shopping.

I have come across a very fun website.  It is the Street Advisor and it is a place that you can type in your address and see how your street ranks as far as vibe, wired, health, value and essentials.  You can also blog on their site about your neighbors - good or bad.  I have added it to the link section so you can keep up on your street and what the neighbors think of you!  You can see above that my street, Garfield Street, in Cherry Creek rated an 87.57.
