Photographers’ Gallery One Person Show: “Colorado in Black and White” the images of George Vago, an award winning, large format photographer. By special invitation for the Photographers’ Gallery April show, George Vago is presenting black and white images of the Colorado landscape. Vago has printed each silver gelatin image personally in his traditional (wet) darkroom, using archival techniques. He presents the images in the dramatic style he is known for – in the West Coast style.
Vago is a native of Hungary, holds a masters degree in engineering and pursued his MFA studies at San Jose State University in California. He has studied photography with a number of recognized masters, including Ansel Adams. His work has been exhibited widely, in the United States and overseas, and can be found in numerous private collections. Join us for this wonderful show of Colorado’s natural wonders!
